Birthday Countdown is designed with privacy in mind. We do not collect, store, or share any personal information on our servers. All data you enter stays on your device.
Birthday Countdown stores your events, settings, and preferences locally on your device. This data never leaves your device and is deleted when you uninstall the app.
Birthday Countdown may request access to your Contacts to import birthday dates. Contact data is read on-device only to extract names and birth dates. No contact information is transmitted, stored on external servers, or shared with third parties. You can deny or revoke contact access at any time in your device settings.
Birthday Countdown may request permission to send local notifications to remind you of upcoming birthdays and holidays. Notifications are scheduled entirely on-device. No notification data is sent to external servers.
The free version of Birthday Countdown displays ads served by Unity Ads. Unity Ads may collect limited device information (such as device type and IP address) to serve contextual ads. Birthday Countdown offers an optional Pro upgrade via weekly subscription or one-time lifetime purchase to remove ads and unlock premium features. All purchases are processed entirely by Apple through the App Store. We do not have access to your payment information.
Birthday Countdown offers home screen and lock screen widgets. Widget data is stored locally on your device using Apple's App Groups framework to share data between the app and its widget extension. No widget data is transmitted externally.
Birthday Countdown is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children.
We may update this policy from time to time. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
